Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the RobotFinger website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Services

RobotFinger provides web development, web design, hosting, maintenance, SEO, and related digital services. The specific scope, deliverables, and timeline for each project will be outlined in a separate project agreement or proposal.

3. Project Agreements

• All projects require a signed proposal or statement of work before commencement
• Changes to project scope may affect timeline and cost
• We will communicate any scope changes before proceeding

4. Payment Terms

• Deposits: A 50% deposit is required before project work begins
• Final Payment: Remaining balance is due upon project completion, before final delivery
• Hosting/Maintenance: Monthly plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis
• Late Payments: Invoices unpaid after 30 days may incur a 1.5% monthly late fee

5. Intellectual Property

Client Ownership

Upon full payment, you own all custom code, designs, and content created specifically for your project. This does not include:

• Pre-existing frameworks, libraries, or tools used in development
• Third-party software, plugins, or themes licensed separately
• Our proprietary development tools and methodologies

Portfolio Rights

We reserve the right to display completed projects in our portfolio and marketing materials unless otherwise agreed in writing.

6. Client Responsibilities

• Provide timely content, feedback, and approvals
• Ensure all content provided is owned or properly licensed
• Maintain current contact information
• Review and test deliverables within the agreed timeframe

7. Hosting & Maintenance

• Managed hosting includes uptime monitoring, backups, and security updates
• We guarantee 99.9% uptime, excluding scheduled maintenance
• Hosting plans may be cancelled with 30 days written notice
• We are not responsible for data loss caused by client actions

8. Warranties & Disclaimers

We warrant that our work will be performed with professional skill and care. However:

• We do not guarantee specific business results (traffic, revenue, rankings)
• Websites are provided "as delivered" after final approval
• Bug fixes are covered for 30 days after project delivery at no additional cost

9. Limitation of Liability

RobotFinger's total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the total amount paid by the client for the specific project in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

10. Termination

Either party may terminate a project agreement with 14 days written notice. Upon termination:

• Client pays for all work completed to date
• We deliver all completed work product
• Any deposits for unstarted work will be refunded proportionally

11. Confidentiality

Both parties agree to keep confidential any proprietary information shared during the project. This obligation survives the termination of services.

12. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes will first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes will be settled through binding arbitration in accordance with applicable laws.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these terms. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
